About Us

Nicole Jolley is a DONA trained birth doula located in Washington, DC. She has been serving the metro area since 2005. Fueled by her desire to help new families work toward a satisfying and educated birth experience Nicole believes that birth is not a medical event even when medical care is part of childbirth. She encourages women to trust their bodies and the birth process.

Nicole has experience with a variety of birth settings including homebirth, birth centers and has attended birthing mothers in all metro area hospitals. She also has a variety of experiences, including both natural and medicated childbirth, cesarean, vaginal birth after cesarean multiples, breech presentation, and waterbirth.
